BIOGRAPHIE

Die gebürtige Holsteiner Sopranistin Lisa Ziehm befindet sich zurzeit im Masterstudium mit dem Schwerpunkt Oper an der Universität der Künste in Berlin in der Klasse von Prof. Carola Höhn.
 

Sie begann ihre musikalische Laufbahn schon in frühen Jahren mit Trompetenunterricht, bevor sie ihre Erfüllung im Gesang fand.
So führte sie zunächst ein Vorstudium an die Musikhochschule Lübeck, an der sie bei Isabel Schaarschmidt 2017 erfolgreich ihr Bachelorstudium absolvierte. Ein Auslandsstudium im Rahmen des Erasmusprogramms brachte sie an die Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, wo sie mit Theresa Goble zusammenarbeitete.
Zahlreiche Gesangsmeisterkurse bei Margreet Honig, Franz Grundheber, Michaela Schuster, Simone Kermes und Liedkurse bei Wolfram Rieger, Daniel Fueter, Karola Theill, Prof. Pamela Lidiard und Prof. Inge Susann Römhild bereicherten ihre Ausbildung und gaben ihr wichtige Anregungen für ihre Arbeit - auch mit ihrer Liedduopartnerin Hyelee Clara Chang.


Ihr breit gefächertes Repertoire reicht von der Klassik bis zur Moderne, wobei ihr Schwerpunkt in der Oper und vor allem im Liedschaffen der romantischen Epoche gewidmet ist.

 

Im Zuge ihrer regen Konzerttätigkeit im In- und Ausland sang sie unter anderem beim London Handel Festival, dem Cap Ferret Music Festival in Frankreich und durfte mit Dirigenten wie Simone Bernardini als Solistin in Gustav Mahlers 4. Sinfonie und mit Bruno Merse und dem Lübecker Kammerorchester als Solistin in Joseph Canteloubes „Chants d’Auvergne” zusammen arbeiten. Weitere bereichernde künstlerische Impulse bekam sie von Christian Schumann, Ludwig Pflanz, Marc Shanahan und Georgios Vagianos.

 

Ihre szenischen Fertigkeiten erlangte sie in zahlreichen Opernproduktionen, wie beispielsweise an der Deutschen Oper Berlin, am Theater Lübeck, dem Musikfestival Oper Oder Spree und den Neuen Eutiner Festspielen. Die Sopranistin arbeitete mit Regisseuren wie Michael Wallner, Lars Franke, Gregor Horres, Isabel Hindersin und Birgit Kronshage.

 

Aktuell singt sie in der Kinderopernproduktion "Die kleine Zauberflöte" beim Musikfestival Oper Oder-Spree und sang im August 2019 in der Opernakademie Bad Orb die Partie der Gräfin Almaviva in Mozarts "Die Hochzeit des Figaro" in einer Inszenierung von Erik Biegel und unter der musikalischen Leitung von Mike Millard.
Sie debütierte im Frühjahr als 1. Dame in Mozarts Zauberflöte in einer Opernproduktion der Operation der Künste in Berlin und Frankfurt am Main und absolvierte erfolgreich ihren szenischen Masterabschluss an der Universität der Künste im Juni in der Rolle The Voice / The Angel in P. Eötvös' zeitgenössischer Oper „Angels in America“.

 

Lisa Ziehm wird zurzeit durch das Deutschlandstipendium und die YEHUDI MENUHIN Stiftung „Live Music Now“ gefördert und war Stipendiatin der Possehl-Stiftung Lübeck.

BIOGRAPHY

The German soprano Lisa Ziehm is currently studying her master's degree in opera at the University of the Arts in Berlin in the class of Prof. Carola Höhn.

 

She began her musical career at a young age with playing the trumpet before she got to know her passion about singing. After pre-studies at the Musikhochschule Lübeck, she decided to start her vocal studies with Isabel Schaarschmidt. Within the context of an ERASMUS- semester, she studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London with Theresa Goble as her vocal teacher.

 

Numerous vocal master classes with Margreet Honig, Franz Grundheber, Michaela Schuster, Simone Kermes and Lied classes with Wolfram Rieger, Daniel Fueter, Karola Theill, Prof. Pamela Lidiard and Prof. Inge Susann Römhild enriched her education and gave her important suggestions for her work - also for her Liedduo with the pianist Hyelee Clara Chang.
 

Her wide repertoire ranges from classical to modern music, with a special focus on opera and, above all, Liedrepertoire in the Romantic era.

 

In the course of her concert activities in Germany and abroad she sang at the London Handel Festival, the Cap Ferret Music Festival in France and was invited to perform with conductors such as Simone Bernardini as a soloist in G. Mahler's 4th Symphony and Bruno Merse with the Lübeck Chamber Orchestra as a Soloist in J. Canteloube's "Chants d'Auvergne". Furthermore she gathered enriching artistic impulses from Christian Schumann, Ludwig Pflanz, Marc Shanahan and Georgios Vagianos.

 

In addition she gathered as well experiences in operatic roles in numerous opera productions at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Lübeck Theater, the Musikfestival Oper Oder Spree and the Neue Eutiner Festspiele. The soprano collaborated with directors such as Michael Wallner, Lars Franke, Gregor Horres, Isabel Hindersin and Birgit Kronshage.

 

So she made her debut in spring as the 1st Lady in Mozart's Magic Flute in an opera production of the Operation of the Arts in Berlin and Frankfurt Main and successfully completed her master's degree at the University of Arts in June by performing as the role of The Angel in P. Eötvös contemporary opera "Angels in America ".

 

In August 2019 she performed the role of Countess Almaviva in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Bad Orb Opera Academy in a production by Erik Biegel and under the musical direction of Mike Millard.

 

Lisa Ziehm was a scholarship holder of the Possehl foundation Lübeck and currently a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium and the YEHUDI MENUHIN Foundation "Live Music Now".
